It's been a while since I've updated this journal, and I guess the main reason is that there has been nothing worth writing about. I'm still basically confused about where we all belong in the long run and what the true point of our existence is. Yep, pretty deep I know, and the truth is that I've seemed to rely on other people for discovering personal truths. I've looked to science, religious leaders, friends, college professors, pretty much anyone with experience for the truth. The question is though.....how did they come to their own conclusions? I know a decent amount of people who have found faith or doubt from their own personal experiences, not the opinions and witness of others. And then on the other hand, I can list the same amount of people who rely on others for these truths and literally change themselves just so they can belong in the same stereotype, just so they can feel like they have a place in the world. For the longest time, I have been one of those people. I've had no idea where I belong among the many groups that reside in this world, and the truth is that maybe some of us, if not most of us, don't belong in any of these groups. My main goal is to develop a decent standard for only myself to follow, not one to impose or is already imposed on others. I believe with complete faith that every single person that lives on this planet has a different view on life in some way. No matter if they happen to be somehow brainwashed by the same people, they still have a different view on what life really means, what truly lies at the end of the tunnel and what we really have to do in order to have the best outcome. The only universal truth I find myself believing is that there is a God....I'm not sure exactly if He's the exact same vengeful mighty being from the Old Testament, but things seem to work out all too well sometimes. Anyway, that's my little insight. Not sure if this little insight was interesting, smart, stupid, boring, or whatever, but I definitely had to let it out somewhere.
